Arsenal’s biggest transfer was ex Liverpool central defender Sebstian Coates from Sampdoria £10.5m.
Aston Villa cranked up their spending this summer with the signings of Ryad Boudebouz from Chelsea for £7m, Lucas Zen from Betis for £9.25m and Maciej Sadlok from Terek for £6m.
Blackpool had another big spending summer with Paul Pogba from Rennes for £6m being their biggest transfer and Vadis Odjidjo from Totthenham Hotspur for £4.1m adding more steel to their midfield.
Bolton Wonderers spread their money over serveral players inlcuding Celso Borges from Bologna for £3.2m, Eren Derdiyak from Leverkusen for £2.1m and Vagif Cavadov from FC Kobenhavn for £3.2m.
Burnley decided against spending big instead offloaded some of their players including Brian Easton to West Ham United for £4.4m and Chuks Aneke to Swansea from £3.3m.
Chelsea were the biggest spenders in the Premier League with the signings of Henrik Mkhitaryan from Juventus for £8.5m, Yaroslav Rakitskyi from Shakhter for £10.75m, Sime Vrsaljko from Espanyol for £16.75m, Artjoms Rudnevs from Sunderland for £7.75m, Chris Wood from Norwich for £7.5m. At the same offloaded just under half of the amount they spent with Asamoah Gyan going to FC Dallas for £3m, Jelle Vossen to Portland for £6.75m and Gael Kakuta to Nice for £3.8m.
I have offload Mathieu Peybernes to AC Milan for £4.7m, Nico Perrey to Union Berlin for £800k, Abdoul Karim Sylla to WBA for £2.6m, Phil Jameson to Newcastle for £1.2m after his agent wanted to keep the annual 10% increase in wage clause in his client’s contract and Alexandr Susin to At. Madrid for £4m with £1m going to . I could not get a buyer for Craig Thomson so I released him with a £190k compensation package and he has not found another club since.
Fulham operated a sell before buying policy this summer after selling Cheick Toite to Inter for £7m, Bryan Riuz to Roma for £4.3m and Jack Cork to Tottenham Hotspur for £4.3m. They brought in Jonathan Spector from Birmingham City for £3.4m, Ben Watson from Wigan for £6.75m, Harry Maguire from Sheffield United for £3.4m and Andros Townsend from Tottenham Hotspur £2.4m.
Liverpool signed Tom Huddlestone from Totthenham for £9.5m, Itay Shechter from Leverkusen for £9m and Xherdan Shaqiri from FC Bayern for £4.8m.
Manchester United signed Christopher Pedersen from FC Groningen for free. They sold Ashley Young to West Ham for £1.8m and Federico Macheda to Napoli for £2m.
Newcastle had a spending spree with Nicolas Isimat-Mirin signing from Valenciennes for £4m, Steven Fletcher from Wolves for £11.25m, Jordan Mutch from Birmingham City for £5m and Raul Meireles from Chelsea for £975k. They sold Yohan Cabaye to Tottenham for £10.25m.
Norwich City had another big spending summer with Elliot Grandin from Wigan for £3.6m, Matt Jarvis from Wolves for £4.3m, Mark Beevers from Middlesbrough for £4.5m, Marc Wilson from Wigan for £4.2m and Kyle Bartley from Arsenal for £3m.
Southampton signed Alain Traore frome Saint-Etienne for £5.75m.
Stoke City are always spending big sums of money players but are funding some of it with player sales. They signed Sebastian Pocognoli from Reading for £6m, Adrian Mariappa from Sunderland £3m, Kevin Theophil-Catherine from Betis £8.75m.
Swansea are another side that spends a lot of money after selling players to fund it. They sold Alejandro Faurlin to Lyon for £14.5m to fund the purchases of Radosav Petrovic from Blackburn Rovers for £3.6m, Ruben Lima Vitesse from £4.5m and Lee Cattermole from Sunderland for £5.25m.
Totthenham Hotspur another cub that spends big and don’t much with it. They signed Sergio Canales from Real Madrid from £9.75m and Adam Matthews from Celtic for £5.75m.
West Brom sold Satiris Ninis to Juventus to £8.5m.
West Ham United signed Johnny Russell from Celtic for £5.75m.
PSG signed Andrea Poli from Sampdoria for £9.25m and Julian Schieber from Duisburg for £6.75m.
Lyon signed Jano from AC Milano for £8.25m.
Marseille signed Bakary Kone from Cagliari for £6.75m and Dedryck Boyata from Ajax for £10m.
Real Madrid signed Ander Herrera from Atletico Bilbao for £16.5m.
Valencia signed Gary Medel from Sevilla for £8.5m, Lazar Markovic from Partizan for £8m and Shinji Kagawa from Dortmund for £21.5m.
FC Bayern signed Gaston Ramirez from Villareal for £14.75m and Jaun Manuel Vargas from Inter £4.1m. They sold Diego Contento to PSV for £6.5m and Jordan Heitinga to Ajax for £3.9m.
That rounds the transfer activity for 2015.
